Ad-aware SE - superior to Ad-aware 6.0

I have been using Ad-aware to remove spyware and adware from computers for a long time now. Actually, I've been using Lavasoft Ad-aware software for almost 2 years now. This is by far one of the best software products out there you could use to remove adware and spyware. The new SE version brings the ability to not only scan for known adware and spyware but also to scan for new programs likely to be adware or spyware. Lavasoft calls this technology in Ad-aware SE, Code Sequence Identitification or (CSI). Ad-aware SE also has many other great scanning engine improvements over Ad-aware 6.0 including encrypting the preference files so new spyware programs can't disable Ad-aware SE easily, the ability to unload process modules on the fly, scanning of ALL modules loaded by a process, and extended memory scanning. All of these features make the already great Ad-aware 6.0 even better.

In addtion to the new scanning engine improvements Ad-aware SE also sports extended windows registry scanning. These new improvements include faster scanning speeds, extended scanning for both known and unknown possible browser hijackers, additional smart scans for detecting dynamically created registry references, and a personal favorite of mine for multiple user account systems, scanning of registry branches of multiple user accounts :)

If all of those improvements weren't enough there is are also updates that extend disk scanning, user interface improvements, many new tweak options, and several logfile improvements. Bottom line, if your not using the new Ad-aware SE version instead of the old Ad-aware 6.0 then you need to upgrade NOW! If your not using Ad-aware SE or Ad-aware 6.0 at all then you need to start unsing this program NOW!
